How did everyones first week go?

*i am learning that i really needed to be better about scripture/ spiritual reading. i love starting the day off right.
* i'm not feeling so great ( bladder infection) and my kids have been mucho sicko this week, guess what i do when that happens? i get lazy. thank goodness i made up some super handy dandy point trackers to keep me organized. i have a few tips for you. in the catagories where you need more than one thing ( water, produce) i just kept tally in the bottom right hand corner every time i drank 8 ozs water or ate a fruit or veggie, then i didn't have to go back and think about it. also at the bottm right above total points there is skinny little row, i used that for keeping track of vitamins.

An Idea

I love me some ghetto gas station food.  I really love 7 eleven's nachos with a hole lot
of chili and cheese and really really want to partake of some today.   Then a
light bulb went off in my head to remake it in a healthy way.
So today for lunch I substituted the chips for a bed of lettuce a thin layer of chili with some
yummy crunchy veggies on top.  I substituted the nacho cheese for the shredded Mexican blend
 and topped it off with a little salsa.  I was completely satisfied and proud of myself for coming up
with a healthier version of some yummy gas station ghetto goodness.

I think for a treat this week I'm going to make lettuce rolls with yogurt and a fresh fruit puree.
To the yogurt I'm going to add some lemon zest and honey. (does honey count as a sweet?)
If it does then I'll just let the natural sugar in the fruit flavor it.

Does anyone else have any ideas of how we can trick ourselves into being a little more healthy?

I am sure there are a lot of us working on a perfect week this week so I asked Jackie if I could throw a little prize in the ring. At the end of the week I will draw a name to win a little goodie (or two) from my etsy shop.

You can choose either two pairs of button clippies

or a wide fabric headband.

(I plan on rocking this one all summer long. So far so good.)

Everyone set to start tomorrow? any questions? 

i'm giving everyone 2 weeks to get the money to me, after that i'll have to cut you from the competition ( and i really don't want to do that) i've decided the let people join if they still want up to next monday, but they might take a point loss since they probably won't be on task. so far i have the money from-

my goals for this week is {1} to not turn on my computer until i have read my scriptures and finished my morning housework. {2} and to do something fun with my boys every day. nothing major, just some quality time with them where i don't feel stressed or hurried.
